Family Matters

The holiday season is often associated with families coming together. Whether you a celebrating a traditional Thanksgiving with close family members or having a fun friendsgiving, the holidays are a great time to reflect on what a family really is.

Families big or small, blood related or not are all beautiful in their own way. To me being a part of a family means looking out for one another and being there for each other in times of need. Even when you don’t want to or are frustrated, especially then is family important. A family has this amazing connection that can never truly be broken. We see all the time parents getting divorced and people going their separate ways, but with family you are always connected with one another.

Here are some books that I think best highlight familiar love and relationships. Some show the importance of families in times of loss and others show the importance of friends when families grow apart. Please leave in the comments your favorite book or books relating to family or books that get you in the holiday spirit.
